Seller and acceptance

Vilhelm Nihlmark, trading as Thornvyr (“Thornvyr”, “we”), is the game operator and your seller. Your agreement for use of the game is with Vilhelm Nihlmark. By using or continuing to use Thornvyr, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement or permission from your parent or guardian where required.

Game and accounts

Thornvyr is a fantasy tower-defense game. All gameplay, modes, towers and heroes remain free. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the game for personal entertainment. Keep your account credentials confidential, provide accurate sign-in information and do not impersonate others. Your chosen names and portraits are visible to other players.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

Do not use the service unlawfully, commit fraud, send spam, cheat, exploit payments or rankings, harass others, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware or interfere with security. Unauthorized probing, scraping, bypassing access controls and disrupting the service are prohibited.

Vilhelm Nihlmark retains ownership of Thornvyr’s original software, documentation and branding. Third-party material remains the property of its respective rights holders. Playing or purchasing does not transfer intellectual property ownership. You retain rights to your uploaded content and grant permission to host, process and display it solely to provide the game. Only upload content you have permission to publish.

Supporter pricing and payment

The browser Supporter Pack costs 49 SEK (49 kr), paid once, with no subscription, recurring billing or renewal. It provides account-owned ad-free benefits and a Founder title in the 1v1 lobby once the purchase is verified. The browser currently has no ads. Checkout displays applicable taxes and the final total before payment. Test purchases do not charge real money or grant live benefits.

Our browser order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our browser orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries relating to these orders and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

Browser purchases belong to the signed-in game account and are not transferable. Phone-store purchases are billed by Apple or Google and, once verified, unlock the same account benefits including the Founder title.

Availability, suspension and termination

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Balance, matchmaking and features may change. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or serious or repeated policy violations, subject to applicable law. Confirmed full refunds or reversals remove Supporter benefits.

Deleting your game account removes access to account-owned benefits; it does not automatically refund payments or erase records that payment providers must retain. See the Privacy Notice for data handling.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Using the game does not waive statutory digital-content withdrawal rights. Any legally required express consent and acknowledgment must be obtained through a compliant checkout process.

Privacy and optional analytics

Our Privacy Notice explains personal data processing. Accepting these terms does not constitute consent to optional analytics. Analytics requires a separate opt-in on the Data Consent page, can be refused without losing gameplay access, and can be withdrawn at any time. Analytics consent expires after 90 days, with daily removal of expired records.
